Here's what shipped in Confluence during November 2024:

Whiteboard Voting

Initiate a voting session on sticky notes, cast votes, end the session, and review who voted for what — with anonymous voting and a "mark as done" option coming soon. This update also bundles in Follow User (follow a teammate's cursor around the board), hyperlinks in text/shapes/sticky notes, borders on shapes, and reactions on whiteboard comments.

Confluence Analytics Redesigned

A major redesign brings page analytics summary cards, one-click time period filters, search inside data tables, modernized charts, and general performance improvements. (Premium and Enterprise.)

Confluence + Figma Integration

The new Confluence for Figma widget lets you embed a Confluence page directly into a Figma file — full page previews, effortless syncing, and one source of truth for designers, PMs, and engineers working side by side.

Page Catch-Up

Confluence's "Summarize changes" AI feature is now generally available, giving you a quick summary of what's changed on a page since your last visit. (Premium/Enterprise, AI features required.)

Improved Jira Task Creation

Highlight text in Confluence and instantly create a trackable Jira task without leaving the page — now with an AI-powered "Create with Atlassian Intelligence" option that drafts the summary and description for you.

Ten New Automation Features

A big batch of Automation updates: invoking Rovo AI agents from a rule, publishing pages with dynamic content, new Loom triggers and templates, better dynamic input, a Jira Create action in Smart Buttons, nearly double the Smart Button templates, Smart Buttons built into top Blueprints, and a look at potential time saved. A Guard integration and a new Jira Issue Created trigger are coming soon.

Edit Space Key

Admins can now rename a space's key after it's been created.
