Three new AI-powered whiteboard capabilities, previewed at Team '24 Europe: generate sticky notes from a prompt or an existing note, cluster related stickies into groups with one click, and summarize a whiteboard straight into a Confluence page. Available now in continuous release, coming soon to Release Tracks. (Premium/Enterprise.)

Create Jira Tasks from Confluence (Now GA)

AI-assisted Jira task creation from Confluence is now generally available. Highlight text and click + Jira issue to have AI draft the summary and description — or scan an entire page at once and generate up to 10 Jira issues in a single pass. (Premium/Enterprise with Atlassian Intelligence.)

New Colors, Icons, and Type

Confluence is the first Atlassian product to receive the company's new visual refresh — modernized icons, updated typography, refreshed components, and a new color palette, powered by the Atlassian Design System. It rolls out automatically over the next few weeks.
